Hey all, looking for some recommendations on a way to make the entire Subway Tunnel System PvP.

Trying to only use TruePVE and Zone Manager. Not using Dynamic Zones at this time, but you could convice me if you think thats the way to do this.

I tried making 1 large zone with ZM but it seems to crash my server, hehe. /zone size "3500 500 3500"

I -Couuuuuld- Just make several smaller zones this way and would really only have to do that once if the map size stays the same, but figured it wouldnt hurt to see what other solutions you all may have.

Very open to options to accomplish this that dont use plugins made or acquired by nivex.

I provided good advice here by affirming what you already suggested and the reasoning is simple

it's not a standard monument with bounds that a plugin can easily check. it requires a different solution, like zone manager zones. if it had bounds then it would be much easier to go that route, but it doesn't. so zone manager zones is the ideal and most efficient way that I know of.

alright, im sorry for my hostility it just seemed like a solution that someone who doesnt have to apply it would say.

Thus i posted my problem else where and some really creative solutions came from it!

A random person (who asked to remain annymous) suggested just bypassing zones and using a height check, which.. to my ignorate brain sounds way more efficient.

This lead to Amino suggesting something that would check height every 10s and then apply triggers... which sounded too.. clunky still.. not ideal.

Rfc1920 then jumped on board and was just like, thats a good idea... and he pushed an update for NextGenPVE that includes it!

I dont know exactly what method he is using to check the height, but its pretty awesome!

yes a height check is a good alternative. I didn't think of that. it would be better.
