Hello. I rent a server because I don't have the time or patience to create my own and do all that it involves. Through my hosting service, Havoc, they allow Umod to be installed. I installed True PVE through my rented server's game panel, but I don't know how to adjust the options that True PVE offers.

How do I adjust the True PVE settings inside this rented server? I don't see any options to do so. I just want to be able to have a server where you can kill everything like scientists and not players or bases. As you all probably already know, the default PVE server settings for Rust are broken in that they don't allow you to kill scientists.

your server config must set to server.pve false. Type this as command in console.
You need ftp access e.g. with filezilla. Login and go to oxide/config/TruePVE.json
Open it and you can edit pve config.

simplying installing the plugin will do this using the default configuration that it creates

as for editing follow omageblue's advice (thanks btw) and if that fails then contact your host
