few months ago fp made some changes that broke some elek in my raidbases, some elek systems are quite extensive and hard to redo. i wonder if this can be used to move switches and heaters back in there place without needing to rewire them

You could certainly try, but best solution would be, if you know how much the positions changed on the FP side, we could make a plugin that parses a copy/paste file and updates the positions automatically, then writes back to the same file or a new file. Better solution would be for CopyPaste plugin to do this automatically but the developer has not been active.

oh that would be great to have some kind of plugin handle the positions. i have no idea how much they shifted tho. i can try and ask around. this would deffo be a better solution since we have allot of raidbases. i also cant imagine im the only one with this issue, so will be helpfull for allot of owners/admins
