COMMUNITY GUIDELINESSolved

I started a new vanilla server to stay in Community tabs - when I uploaded the Tebex plugin I received a "COMMUNITY SERVER GUIDELINE" message/email in my plugins folder and it stated that I've been moved from Community to Modded because I'm using a plugin that isn't within Community Guidelines. It goes on to give a list of approved Community plugins, then it lists said plugin that wasn't approved which was "Tebex".

However, in the list of approved community plugins Tebex is listed - but listed as TebexDonate.cs - since this is recently updated and it's simply named Tebex.cs now. I assumed there was some sort of mix up due to the different plugin names.

This is the message I've sent to Facepunch - they got back to me stating this isn't something they issued out to me and to speak with my host - I contacted my host and they can't help me.

This is the Letter:

Community Guidelines for using plugins on Community Servers

** This list is a community compiled document and is not in any way validated or endorsed by Facepunch **
When using plugins with your Rust server you should be listed under the Modded section. However you may use certain plugins under the Community section so long as you follow these guidelines.

No gameplay modifying plugins
Any plugin that affects a player’s gameplay in any way. For example, a plugin that changes gather rate, item spawns, player spawns, or smelting mechanics.

Example of common plugins, but not limited to:
Furnace Splitter, Gather Manager, Rust Kits

No plugins that create or alter user interfaces
Any plugin that displays any in-game UI or modifies the existing in-game UI. For example photos/logos.

Example of common plugins, but not limited to:
InfoPanel, Loading Messages, Skinbox

Admin plugins are allowed
You may use plugins that assist in administration of your server so long as the plugin does not alter game play for the player. You may inform players of rules via plugins, but may not alter the game play. For example, you may inform a player they are breaking a group limit on your server, but you may not prevent them from doing so.

Example of common plugins, but not limited to:
Vanish, Admin Radar

Skip Queue and Chat Moderation are allowed

Hey there, thanks for your post. It's definitely due to the plugin being renamed to just "Tebex". We will coordinate with Facepunch to ensure this is cleared up.

Thanks.

Hey! We've checked into this for you. We have reached out to both Facepunch and uMod and we've been advised that neither have implemented or maintain this list of plugins.

In this case it would appear that this would be a list that is maintained by your server host. We understand that you've reached out to them before, but according to Facepunch and uMod support neither are the maintainers of this list and have stated that it must be the server host doing this.
