everytime i make changes to the plugin it keeps reverting back to default after i save. even when i restart server or oxide.reload

If its changes to the data file you must unload the plugin , edit, save then reload unless the server is down then you just edit , save and plugin will load when you start the server,
If its the config you should check your edited (saved)  file with a json validator as any missed comma etc will revert it back to original (before edit) settings.
