on every reboot I lose the CS file and am forced to reinstall the plugin

That's bizarre. I've never heard of any issue like that with any plugin.

It generally shouldn't be possible for a plugin to delete itself or any other plugin because file system access is restricted.

1. Does this issue happen to any other plugins?
2. How long have you noticed this issue? Weeks, months, since you installed the plugin (which was when exactly)?
3. Have you recently (prior to when you started seeing the issue) installed other plugins or extensions, especially Automatic Plugin Updater, or any plugin using Harmony (none on uMod do)?
