Automatic skin config generationSuggestion
Hello,

Looking at the amount of skins available to add. It has become clear that doing this process manually would be insane. I was able to find the list of shortnames and skin IDs for most of the skins here: https://umod.org/documentation/games/rust/definitions#skins which I found through another thread on here by Wulf. Since I was not able to find any instructions on how to apply these. So I asked a friend to do some excel work to get these commands put together. So far so good.

However, there are still 2500 of these. Is there a way to string these commands within the console? We tried using ; and that doesnt seem to work. Do we have to figure out a way to batch these within a file and upload to the server?

Any assistance would be great!
I don't think there is any kind of batch upload for that at the moment unfortunately.
There was a plugin that allowed you to download all the skins and then you had to add them to the config. It was called skindownload.cs . I have the old outdated one but need someone that can make it work again. @Misticos are you able to help?
The biggest thing there is that using paid skins would amount to piracy, which is why it isn't allowed here. Freely available workshop skins is another case, but there are tens of thousands of those.
I have found a GitHub link that contains all the skins ids. Am I allowed to post the link?

It would be removed, as it would surely contain what I mentioned above. I'd ask that skin authors be respected.
Yep yep no problem.

I Know this is an old post but is there any examples code to look at where you can get the public workshop skins?
