Hi misticos, I was looking for an existing thread for this and it seems everytime it is asked people are provided a list of approved skins, which cannot be used can you provide a link to the thread in question or is it simply a matter of no one having a list and you need to add them all yourself?

Such links are usually just deleted on uMod

Okay, not a problem then, I am new to Python and was thinking I might try and scrape the first page of each skinnable item from the market place (of the to be approved skins that is), if I got that list and made a post of it would that be able to be kept up until it needed to be updated?

I could provide the python script if I succeed perhaps that way people could run it themselves whenever they like that way, assuming I am not too embarrased by my poorly spliced together code to post it any how D':

The plugin could do that, but we don't really want lists of skins here as there isn't any way to verify.

I will make something up for myself and get back in touch as if I can do it the way I think I will be able to, which I assume I will be able to do, we could check the ID's of skins from the list I generate with the skins from here as I believe it is updated every wipe when new skins are added, that would get rid of any authorised skins from the list as well as making a way for additional skins to be added relatively easily by people when it is updated. 

The only drawback of this mod is how long it takes to add skins, a populated list from anywhere would make it a lot nicer/easier to set up.

On the forum getting chunked up with lists you woulnd't need to host the data here bar a single post which would be "Big ol' list of skins" in the subject line and a link to a Google Sheets or Drive folder with a document with a list of commands to run/the JSON file to import, this could also include a list of commands to remove any of the existing skins to double down on making sure there aren't any authorised skins in the list. 

Also, I will be running this up for myself as I am learning Python and want to put it to use, I am not trying to step on anyones toes here.

My wife just added a ton of skins, really didnt take long. Just have to find a Json editor, excel document for easier handling, and website with the skin codes.
Just make sure you do backups.
