Heya, on my server we used to use Death Notes as a helpful admin tool because we didn't want players knowing for sure that they killed someone while shooting through a bush or whatever.  The author of Death Notes used to have the kill feed protected behind a permission that a user would need in order to see the messages, but he did a rewrite of the plugin and took that feature out.  I was wondering if there is a way to do something similar with Kill Feed.  Thanks!

Well tbh i think there is better tools to monitor player kills, then a plugin that is made to display it to everyone.

Sometimes especially on RP or nokos servers staff likes you use killfeeds as a thermometer for what's going on at large, and having if out of chat and it's own thing has it's value. We could probably shoehorn perms in ourselves though.  It's useful for a server like ours to see 'Oh hey XxScumlord75xX just killed his 5th random dude. '> Support ticket coming in from player about Koser.. player is jailed quicker to investigate because his behavior is already suspect.

Well i still think there is better tools for this. Also would i add alot more overhead with perms. Especially on high pop servers. Checking perms for each player on top of the data file check for each player isnt good in terms of performance of the plugin. And our goal with the plugin was to give a simple text feed that dosent tank performance to much. If you guys still want to have that for your server PM me. I think the majority here dont want this or need this.
