So, it appears that loading images onto spinners isn't working for me. Never had problems with it before, and I'm not sure when it became an issue. It accepts the chat command successfully but the image doesn't load. In fact, it appears to remove all graphical details other than some basic shading for what I'm guessing is the bumpmap of scratches and grooves. 

In the image below the left spinner is the default and the right spinner is after loading an image.
