Now that Discord is forcing everyone to choose a new username, I was wondering if you could make a config feature that allows us to use our Display name instead of the username.

I was about to recommend the same thing until I saw this thread.  So yes, I'd recommend a way to use Discord's display name as well.

Set your nickname in the discord server and it will use that nickname.

Ah, thanks for that tid bit of information. I had my display name set to what I wanted, but you have to go into the server profiles and change it there. Cheers mate.

My new Discord name is passing to the server and not my display name.  Is there a trick to get this to pass?  Maybe a Rustcord setting I am overlooking?

Figured it out after re-reading your post.  The server display name is a server setting on Discord you get to by right clicking on your name.  Thanks.
