Animals/AI nav_disable setting
On my gameservers server the Animals and AI are turned off by default but i'm not sure what the difference is.

The reason I think it's turned off is to improve performance, but yeah it might get a bit boring in the game.

In my config it says "+nav_disable true " and because of this when my server crashes it restarts pretty fast, but is there any way to enable the scientists and animals to walk but still have fast restarts? Because I notice in Rust Admin you can choose 2 options "Animals Move" and "Animals AI"

What is the difference between these 2 and whats the best way to set up your server?
Your AI and animals won't move with that option set. Unsure what those options are though in Rust Admin. Also, your server isn't actually crashing, your host is just setting a memory limit that they then restart your server for when it hits that.

No I mean when it crashes and restarts it takes alot longer with AI

Rust generates navigation and such for the AI during startup, so yes, it will take longer. Your host is disabling the AI and animal movement because it uses more memory, and they do not want you to easily hit that memory limit they have set.
