Big change coming to servers

Got this from my provider today

Just a heads-up for all Rust server owners and plugin users. Facepunch has updated their official Community Server and Hosting Guidelines as of July 15, 2025, with a major change that's going to affect a lot of servers.

Starting August 7, 2025, you won't be allowed to give players access to paid DLC they don't actually own. This includes things like:
- Official Rust DLC (building skins, instruments, furniture, etc.)
- Approved Steam Marketplace skins and cosmetics
- Any other paid content from Facepunch
You can still:
- Use unapproved Workshop skins (as long as they're not official DLC)
- Monetize your server with donations, subscriptions, or ads
- Use plugins like SkinBox, but only with non-DLC skins

Please note, any services in breach of this may be blacklisted by Facepunch and in turn may lead to termination of the service.

Does this include selling DLC items generated by administrators from the F1 console at vending machines?

As i am not using ANY workshop skins created by me i am not violating any clause of the tos, I am not unlike you encouraging anyone to circumvent any conditions of the tos ,

no what im saying is facepunches future update would violate steams tos. if they were to choose the route of making all skins a paid option. i wasnt saying you were doing anything wrong. and anybody using skins isnt commiting any crime as everything is available and has been on the steam workshop since 2014.

Can I restrict access to DLC content on our Servers? No - if it is Facepunch approved downloadable content ("Facepunch DLC"), then players must be able to freely and unconditionally access their validly purchased Facepunch DLC across all Servers. -- meaning, if players join a host and a. the host doesnt own the dlc then b. that player would have an unfair advantage, thus when hosting a server- all dlc regardless- are available to the Host.
