I was reading about moving players to another server but read that it could be a blacklisted offence?

I'm looking to have players be able to fly to the edge of the map and then give them the option to travel to another one of my servers with a different map. I was going to start work on it today but I'm put off by the fact you can be blacklisted by this??

Why would I get blacklisted for this? Any one have any information on this before I get started? Maybe I just need to go about it a different way?

If you "read that it could be a blacklisted offence" then provide the link so we can see it. I can't think of any reason for blacklisting in this case.

By the way, Facepunch is working on travel between servers, you should know that before you start spending a lot of time and effort on it.

He doesn't give any reason for assuming blacklist, he's just making it up imo.

It's probably more along the lines of people would spin up a bunch of different spoof servers and redirect them to their main server all to try to get ahead of the competition.

Well I'm truly gutted. Spent ages working on a mod to run into this...



I made a mod that keeps track of the player, their gear, their vehicles, any passengers and their gear, what part of the map they're flying off from to get a relative spawn position for when they enter the map on the other server and then this...

There should be a way for the client to be able to say "Yes I want this to happen"
