Hey there,
I run a PvE server, so to spice up the experience a little, I want to activate zombies on my server.
So how do I do that? I know there are plugins out there, like Night Zombies, but I want them to spawn day and night. So I just want to activate the vanilla zombies that spawn at Halloween - but the whole year and without the Halloween minigame stuff.
I know that it's possible, I saw other vanilla servers who do that, but I just need to know the commands.

With NightZombies you are able to set the time. So it is possible to have them at day also.

"Spawn Time": 19.8,
"Destroy Time": 7.3,

Otherwise you open your map file and place the prefab npc spawner with scarecrow setting where you want to spawn one if you dont want an plugin.
Perhaps someone else knows more.

Hm, maybe I try Night Zombies... Editing the map file goes a little too far tho, since I don't want to edit every single map I'm loading.

But also, I know there are some commands like "halloween.murdererpopulation" and "halloween.scarecrowpopulation" - but I'm not sure if those are tied to the Halloween event and would work without that being active.
So maybe someone can tell me if I could just put those commands in my server.cfg?

Look up an addon called Zombie Hoards, its not on UMOD. Great addon and I think many small hoards could achieve what your looking for
