I don't know where to post this. But I scanned the Oxide.Rust server file from Rust Oxide. With VirusTotal and it came back with -> This <- I am unsure if it is a False Positive or not. I noticed that every other update has the same virus. Maybe this is false? Not sure like I said. Maybe someone should be concerned if it is one? Just thought I'd share this. I recently had to format my PC and I've been scanning everything I download now. Don't want to risk it. Figured I would share this.

I'm sure it's a false positive, but if you want peace of mind why not just host on Linux and then you never have to worry about all that virus nonsense.

The oxide file hosted here does not contain a virus.

Oxide is not a virus, you can look through the sourcecode over at https://github.com/OxideMod.

I was just thinking of doing this. Been running it on Windows Server for quite awhile might make the switch tonight.

I am using ESET Nod32 Antivirus and never had any issues, warning or detections. Also why whould oxide contain a virus lol... I am sure it's false positive as others said and I never use Malwayrebytes or Virustotal because think they are gimmick (personal opinion).
