I'm new to this and have followed a few walk throughs to get my own personal server for rust, everything is straight forward untill I hit this road block...
After installing oxide and downloading a few mods and puttingthem into the plugin folder I went to enabling them which some uses permissions. ANY plugin that requires permissions to be added I always end up with "Permission 'permission name' Doesn't Exist
Plugins im trying to use are nodecay, remover tool, backpacks and events. ive looked in the log files and say they load properly. 

what does it say when you do o.version in console? also show when you do o.plugins, and if this is working then show your oxide log file.

so speaking specifically about backpacks what exactly are you typing

oxide.grant <Admin> <steam ID> <backpacks.gui>
thats what it says to use on the web page

I think you're messing up the syntax. It should be:

o.grant group admin backpacks.gui
(admins only)

...or:

o.grant group default backpacks.gui
(all players)

...or:

o.grant user 76561############ backpacks.gui
(single player only)

...or:

o.grant user AgentAngelFox backpacks.gui
(single player only)

You just misunderstood the syntax on the plugin page I think. It can be tricky to grasp when you first start using it, we've all been there.
