I agree it shows in notifications every time it happens,

You fail to realize an update was put out very shortly after making posts. It's apparent that it is not an automated task, and someone has to manually do it. Maybe they are not informed of game updates, or don't bother for every update unless someone cares enough, but someone is always watching the posts here. The original post/update that went almost a day without update, was very important, it fixed some exploits.

Todays update released about an hour ago - Fixed chat rate limits not applying in global chat.

We get notifications of every update that happens, how long it will take depends on my availablility.
Making posts saying there was an update isn't necessary, I always know when an update gets released 🙂
