Is it possible to get access to the old Oxide downloads back from May of 2020? The downloads on the Github only go as far back as 2021 and the ones here on UMod say "not found" when I click the download button.

Sorry, we don't provide older builds beyond a point and do not support older versions of games. If you'd like to use it with an older game version, you'd have to build from that point.

So there's no way to access an old build? I'm not concerned with having the most up to date features I just want it to be able to run it on a server hosted on an old version.

Surely this has something to do with the cracked (pirat) version of Rust. :/

Because of the new recoil update a decent amount of people (I think it's like max 50 pop) have been playing an old 2020 release (the NVGs update). It requires the base game to run, so nope this is not pirate related. 

Edit: I was also able to get my hands on an old Oxide build.

I was thinking about something else btw... If we ignore the year 2020 in this topic If I had money to host 2nd server comoletely not discoverable from the In-game server browser (which is the downside) I would ask for oxide build for the latest OG Rust update before the combat system rework and run server with the old recoils. I am sure a lot of Rust Chads will be happy with this. That's why I do not think pirate shit is the reason when someone ask for old version. A lot of time Rust changed completely by adding something game changing and some players do not like it but you are forced to play it this way.

You can use non-Steam clients on the current sever builds, so there'd be no reason to use an old build for piracy honestly.

We don't host a lot of older builds on GitHub because of space limitations, and we don't really like to have hundreds or thousands of copyrighted files hosted.
