Player chat is logged in the main server logs but for some reason the chat entered via the Facepunch webrcon does not appear in the logs. Is there a way to fix this with or without a plugin?

you should contact them about it if it's broken. I know chat.tail broke again recently perhaps they use or go off that?

I don't know anything about their rcon client, I assumed it was working before. There are many rcon clients and they can all behave differently. Main thing is if you have an issue with a specific one you should go their support first imo.

I assumed you are talking about their rcon client: https://facepunch.github.io/webrcon/#/home .. why would you mention webrcon if you were talking about the server console? you must be talking about a rcon client. the rcon client is not integrated into a rust server.

My rust server uses a webrecon console utility which is built in (which shows chat) , though i mostly use RustAdmin

I'm a Linux desktop user so RustAdmin is not an option for me. I'm still none the wiser as to why the chat via webrcon does not appear in the server logs.
