I run a rust server and as admin I use RustAdmin app. When I send out server messages in game using the chat, there is a red rust icon beside the sever message...normal right. Now, heres the thing. Last night I was on the server adjusting plugins and whatnot. One player was on at the time. I looked up at the chat dialog and beside the server chat icon it said "ESP Deactivated". This leads me to believe this player was using ESP with some sort of false server script or something. I dont know to much about the hacks and scripts cheaters use as I am learning as I go.

Was that a clear indicator he was using cheats? I dont wanna confront player and ban him with report unless I can confirm this. He does have a shared game ban with another player under another name, reason was for using hacks/ESP. So I am almost positive he was uing it.

I just wanna make sure that is why in chat under the server it said esp disabled.

if the server says that to you, it is simply one of your plugins likely instead.

Thank you, i figured that out a few hours later, I appriciate you. I am relativly new to running a modded server and wasnt sure but I had a feeling it was a plugin. Instead of being rude and jumping to conclusions I wanted to ask, Again thank you all for the support.
