Combatlog ID of a players is not the STEAM ID.
So what is it?

I really have no idea what that is.
I know IP and I know STEAM ID. But what is the network id and why do players get that information in combatlog.
Wouldn't it be more useful to see the STEAM ID? For admins it would.

no players should not know that information imo, admins can find a players networkid from the logs or other means

If the ID that is being shown in the combatlog is the network ID it is clear that every player can see this cause every player can use the combatlog.
I got 2 questions now for me as an admin that get combatlogs from players to look over combats.

1. What exactly is the Network ID?
2. Is there a way for me as an admin to find out the STEAM ID of a player with that Network ID from the combatlog to know which player this was?
