Too many entities spawning

Hello,

I have been having an issue on my server for a long time now. There are too many entites spawning on my server all the time. I am a monthly wipe 2x and about 3 weeks in my server crashes all the time because its over 300k entities. I start out with like 65k entities. I have entity reducer and entity cleanup mods. How can I go about making it so my server isn't flooding with entities?

I have the same problem and also use EntityReducer plugin, I have noticed that everytime i shutdown and restart my server the entity amount goes up by 5-8k , for instance today i had 183+k and when started the server I have 190+k, same buildings/bases no change to loot plugins just more entities , Rust just grows more entities and uses more ram everytime they "upgrade" (?)  the game,

Thanks for sharing your experiance. Mine passively increases maybe 10k entites a day even if the server has had zero people playing. I have herd word that it might be the Christmas event. However I would like a more straight forward and detailed explination/resolution, if possible. I know a lot of server owners are experiancing this event with these entitiy reducing mods.

had this issue in the first month, i went to smaller map, upgraded my ram. reduced spawnlimits of chickens, hotairballoons, stags and some other stuff.  i tried the plugin mentioned above but that didnt seem to help much. havent had any of these problems since then. also said i just have a small pop of around 10 regulars and 20/30 random players a month

What is your map size?

ill pick mostly 3500 size maps, this month i went for custom free map shivering sand, map size 3200.

Due to the ever increasing amount of monuments and the fact i am running BotReSpawn and so have bots at every monument i need to use the FP recommended 4500 map size, if i used a smaller map not all of the monuments would spawn and they would be too close to each other, The anomoly is that (as stated before) you can shutdown with 100000 entities and start up with 109000 entities, where the extra comes from is a puzzle and the steady increase of 5-8k a day has not been explained by anyone, i use entity reducer to reduce trees, animals, ore, forest, wood and loot,

Yeah man, I seem to get more entities all the time but I don't ever see any extra entities on my map.
