First person specate mode?Solved

I saw that it was added, but I can't find how to activate first person mode. Does anyone have any info on this? FP didn't provide any proper info on how to use it. I can't find anyone talking about this at all. I even went to see if Rustified show cased it, but they only talked about it. So, I'm very lost on how you get to use it?

First person mode is the default view, it will show as soon as you do 'spectate'. You can cycle through other views with F3.

It must be broken or something, cause it's not the default veiw for me or any of my admins. Press F3 doesn't do anything either for any of us. 

Also, make sure you do not have Spectate plugin... Not sure if this is related and what Spectate plugin changes but its modifications so might be the cause of the issue you have. For me, vanilla spectate works fine only wonder why sometimes when players shoot it's weird. Like the sound of hit is not added. only headshots and sometimes players shot side next to the target like FULL MISS but do actually hit shots cuz it's normal to be broken/unpolished after release just you can think they cheat while its issue from the spectate or at least for me.

I hope they fix this... I feel they added first person but behind the final scenes and end visual results it's just the camera being forced somehow at this PoV, like almost perfectly adjusting debug camera manually at this position (I hope you know what I mean) and that's why we have inaccurate shots... Hope they fix it in future updates (the shooting issue) and also like we see HP/Thirst/Hunger and current player team UI in the corner and positions on the G map we need to view inventory when pressing TAB so I can know what players have/loot etc.

Alt is a little bit scuffed and noticed when player use binoculars it's a big mess, Broken zoom not where they actually look and no binoculars UI around : (

I'm a glass-half-full kinda guy... it's a lot better than it was before :)

I do hope they fixed those things too. It all feels lacking, but I do agree with Jim that it's something better. I feel fp pushes things out that are new to get ironed out over time. That seems how things work around here. They push new stuff out, it breaks stuff and is half broken, they fix it in upcoming wipes and it's like it never happened.

Oh and that issue I was having, was because of a plugin. I didn't realize we had a spectate plugin.
