uMod - Brand new to using Oxide and having issues - Rust

I am pretty sure either i overlooked something or im just flat out dumb. I am trying to add admin permissions to myself for my plugins and i cant seem to get it to work... Is there anyone who would be willing to help me with the basics? Please and thank you

What "admin permissions" did you assign? Most plugins use actual permissions from Oxide, not "ownerid" from Rust.

Like for instance when I am typing in oxide.grant <user> <steamID> <permisions> what am i putting for the permissions? anything itry says permission does not exist. As an example I was trying to use the Admin Pannel plug in.

You'd use the permissions as listed on the plugin's page.

Ex. oxide.grant group admin vanish.use

I tried using that exact command and it says vanish.use is not a permission...

That permissions comes from the Vanish plugin, which you'd have to have installed; it was just an example.

Okay for instance I have the backpack plugin when i use backpack.admin it says permission does not exist

backpacks.admin is the permission.

If any permission comes back as not valid, then that plugin either isn't installed or the permission was not correct.

But backpacks is installed because its in the list with my other plugins and they are working
