I'm trying to update my rust server using oxide with plugins, however when I try to connect the error

Kicking 192.168.0.1:55338/76561198345507993/ToastV4 - their protocol is 2138 not 2137
192.168.0.1:55338/76561198345507993/ToastV4 kicked: Wrong Connection Protocol: Server update required!'

appears in the console. I installed the latest version of oxide/umod, extracted it and copied it into my server folder, replacing the previous file, yet I still get the exact same error...
How can I fix this?

Pretty sure your server, not oxide, needs to be updated.

I also updated the server using Steam CMD, unless I updated it wrong.
I entered the command 'login anonymous force_install_dir "C:\RustServer" app_update 258550' into steamcmd.

Installing an old build of Oxide would cause this, as you would be downgrading the moddifed Rust files that control this.

But I updated oxide to the latest version only a few hours ago, and the issue still remains..?

If your protocol shows 2137, you aren't using an updated build. Where are you downloading from exactly?

I'd also like to mention that when I boot up the server, it says that update 258550 is up to date.

What is the version showing before you install Oxide?

I already have oxide installed, and was using it fine on my server up until the update a couple of days ago, and I got the same error after updating as I did before. So I don't really know how to answer that....
