Hi guys, can anyone explain what router specifications are needed for rust server.

So far I have tested:

Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN (Around 60 players lags appear) Altho CPU load is around 40% 
Linksys RTW1900AC (Around 130 players lags appear) 

Now i'm planning to take the old i5 and build OpenSense.

Maybe someone has some experience with routers and can give me some hints on what is needed? My IPS gives me 1gb's (Download upload around 850 mb/s)

unrelated warning: hosting with home ISPs etc is a bad idea because they usually offer close to no real protection which makes your server quite vulnerable to DDoS attacks

Well if you have a good router you can filter ddos attacks, that's a big + to mikrotik router. With linksys there is no such options.

I'm hosting for 1 year and so far have been twice ddos'ed.
