I've been searching but haven't had any luck. Is there a plugin that lets a player lock a car lift or will lock the entity to the player? Also using teams/friends/clans is a bonus.

I run a PVE and someone figured out you can strip cars left on the lift.

Based on what you described, it sounds like the issue is players are stripping cars owned by other players. So what you probably want to do is not lock the lift itself, but prevent the lift from editing cars owned by others. Both Vehicle Deployed Locks and Bomb Trucks have example code of preventing players from editing specific vehicles.

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but Vehicle Deployed Locks has a config option to disallow players from editing cars they are locked out of, and it supports sharing with Team, Friends, and Clans.

That does exactly what I need. Thank you. I've got the players trained for the most part to lock their cars anyway. And they tell the new guys to do the same. So this should take care of everything.
