BetterChat reverts players to default groupNot An Issue

Howdy yall,

Having a slight issue with the BetterChat plugin sadly. @LaserHydra has made a great plugin, and I would love to keep using it on our server. However, the issue is that throughout the course of the day, I can easily /chat add user username admin( or whatever group necessary) and obviously remove default, but it does not seem to save the users into the respective categories. Instead, they can be grouped in the admin group and removed from the default group, but somehow they end up returning to the default group. It's a constant battle with it, and they tend to get irritated that I have to keep removing them from the default group, re-add them to the selected group.... OR .... They stay in the same group, but somehow end up with the default group regardless and I have to remove it so it properly updates their title tag (which is how people are distinguished on our server as an admin, helper, streamer, etc.)

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Any insight would be great, and I can provide the configuration JSON file if necessary. If LaserHydra even responds with a possible fix that would be awesome too. Thanks guys, hope someone can give me a hand with this so I can nip it in the butt and it stops happening!

This plugin doesn’t actually manage the groups, it just utilizes them as provided by Oxide. All players will always be in the default group. If you want to hide other group titles, you can change the config in this plugin to only show the primary group.

@Wulf Thank you for the quick reply. So in order to fix that, I would need to remove said users from the default group via oxide rather than just the chat group? If that's the case, wouldn't I need to make multiple groups through the original oxide commands and still remove those specific users from that group? I've tried to configure the plugin to show only the primary, but that somehow seems to escape my knowledge.

If you want some configurations please let me know and I can upload them so you can get an idea of what is going on. Will obviously edit certain parts out in the event there may be some sensitive information.

No, as mentioned in my previous post, or cannot remove a player from the default group as they are always going to be added to it. There are a few existing threads on how to only show the admin group title.
@Wulf do you mind linking me one of the threads so I can read through it? I didn't find any via the search function sadly. They're all somewhat vague =[

EDIT: Nevermind! Found one that's a bit more descriptive. I will modify the config file now. Thank you again for the fast response. I appreciate you guys!
