Can't seem to give myself oxide permissions? Not An Issue
So I'm having a bit of trouble getting the permissions set up for my server. At the moment I'm trying to auth myself to use bgrade. I already have admin permissions and RCON access (I can spawn items in both through RCON and f1 console, noclip, god mode, etc) but no matter what I try I can't seem to get the oxide part to work. Here's what I've tried: oxide.grant aim.lucas bgrade.all (aim.lucas is my in-game name, lemme know if the period could be affecting things) oxide.grant aim.lucas 76561198064636564 bgrade.all oxide.grant user lucas oxide.reload oxide.show user aim.lucas oxide.usergroup add aim.lucas admin --- none of these commands have done anything. no messages pop up, in game or in console. ive tried doing them in RCON with no change and bgrade still doesn't work. I had this issue in the past but I fixed it, now im not sure what I did.
You may not see replies via RCON, but trying to use those commands in-game via chat or the F1 console requires you to be admin/owner with Rust. You should be seeing the exact reason why you can't grant them when you use those commands in-game, but no guarantees via RCON in terms of replies.

If you see that you don't have permission to use the command, then you don't have permission to use the command and aren't actually admin/owner in Rust. If it says that the permission doesn't exist, then the permission doesn't exist, as in the plugin isn't loaded or that permission doesn't actually exist or may be typoed. If you get a help response, then you didn't use the command properly.
Okay I'll try making myself owner/admin again and see it that fixes it

Yeah that still didn't work. I did confirm I was server owner and I even wrote it again and got a confirmation message saying it added me as the server owner but the oxide commands still don't work, it's like I'm not even entering them. Any suggestions?

What is the exact reply you see and where are you trying to use them? When you connect to the server, does it show you as having auth level 2 in the logs? If not, then you aren’t owner on the server.
This is the message that shows when I connect: "

24.29.75.179:58608/76561198064636564/aim.lucas has auth level 2"

I also have a green name in-game when I type in chat. I'm currently re-installing oxide and the plugins to see if that fixes it

In the f1 console I type, for example, "oxide.grant aim.lucas bgrade.all" and nothing happens. No message, no error, no anything. It's like this for any command I type

Sounds like you don’t actually have Oxide installed then as you’d see a reply.

Okay I got an update. So I reinstalled oxide and reinstalled all the plugins and it seems to be working now. I was able to add myself to the default "admin" oxide group but now I'm having an issue where anytime I type "oxide.grant aim.lucas bgrade.all" or "oxide.grant admin bgrade.all" it prints a message saying "Usage: oxide.grant <group|user> <name|id> <permission> and doesn't seem to actually run the commands I'm entering

You are removing part of the command.

which part?

which part?
The user or group subcommand.

The user or group subcommand.
Can you give me an example of what the command should look like? Here's what it says on the bgrade mod page: To assign a permission, use oxide.grant <user or group> <name or steam id> <permission>. Thats what I've been typing so I'm confused what I'm doing wrong

Bit of an update - I tried oxide.grant admin aim.lucas bgrade.all and I tried oxide.grant aim.lucas <64id> bgrade.all and it still says the usage message. Am I misunderstanding this? It would really help if you could give me the exact message I should be using
