How can I bind /prod to a key? I tried "bind p prod.use", but it nod not seem to work.
Bind a chat command?
if you want to bind chat commands, simply enter following into your console: bind x chat.say "/command value"
Heres an example: bind x chat.say "/bgrade 4" whereas you can change x to your desired key and everything within the quotation marks to every command of your choice.
In your case you would need to simply enter following into your console: bind p chat.say "/prod"
Did the recent Hardcore mode update change how this works? None of my keybinds are working on Hardcore servers. I'm pretty sure it's because of the changes to global chat on hardcore servers, but I can still manually type the commands in and they work.

I am wondering the same thing all this time later. Has anyone found a console command alternative to "chat.say" that works for hardcore? Something like "local.say"?
