Rust:IO not showing player movementsSolved
I've just noticed that player movements (including my own) aren't showing up on the live maps at Playrust.io. Everything else seems fine. Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes I have the same problem. Quickly a fix
Same problem here , I posted a thread in "game support" yesterday (no replies so far) as there is no longer a link to Rust io "support" after the move to Umod as there is no tools section on this forum, Hopde we get a result soon.

It's an Extension, so it'd be under the Extensions section when @dcode submits it.
Thank you Wulf for your prompt response, Just have to wait for it, I

Rust changes, the extension would have to be updated for those changes.
That is very true but without any support contact there is no way to inform dev of that problem.
Thanks guys, that issue should now be fixed with an automatic update (let me know if there are still issues). To apply it, run: oxide.reload RustIO

Btw: I'd love to publish Rust:IO on Umod (did you know that I made the original logo?), or at least get a dedicated discussion thread up here so I can stay in touch with you guys, but in order to publish it on Umod they want me to give them access to the full source code, which I can't do because I don't trust Calytic. I don't know that guy, but I remember that he offended me in the past and even runs his own map image generator, so that's simply not gonna happen as long as I'm halfway sane. I'm deeply sorry.

Don't be sorry, I actually agree with you @dcode.  What you know at this point is that I have previously developed extensions which compete directly with things you develop, and to that end we have always been competitors.  As far as you know, my efforts (over the last 3+ years) have largely put pressure on you and your business model.  We also had an intellectual property dispute, the outcome of which, I gather, neither of us were happy with.  As such, being reticent to upload your work here makes perfect sense and I would agree that your apprehension is justified.

We certainly have had our disagreements, but I appreciate your retraint and will respond in kind by not airing specifics or to any real extent any dirty laundry here in a public forum. Trust is certainly earned, and I think that's a good first step.  For the sake of a healthy uMod ecosystem and Rust:IO, not unduly burdened by the egos of their respective maintainers, I will happily extend my time to engage in discussions, and possible negotiations, about the future relationship between you and uMod;  with respect to your previous (not insubstantial) contributions and the work I have done which you may see as problematic to your interests.

EDIT:  I would also add that whether or not extensions are published here is dependent on our ability to review them, given that the sandbox does not apply to extensions.  We cannot say that we are performing our duty to users and hosting providers, ensuring the security of their systems, if we aren't able to review code that is published on this platform.  Ultimately this issue is about trust, and for both uMod and Rust:IO to have reservations is entirely understandable.
