I know there's a plugin that lets you change your name and chat message to different colors including gradient. But is there a way to manually enter this information while editing a config? Lets say I want a prefix to be extra fancy. Or a title on an info page to stand out more than the others. Is the entry in the <color=#XXXXXX> modified? Is there a whole other process involved? Or is it just not possible?
Possible to have gradient text?
You'd only be able to have one color (with transparency) per letter, but yes, just a lot of color tags.
Kinda looping back to this. But not really. After the last update the option to add size and color to the name entry in some plugins broke. Do I need to use a new format? Or is it just gone?
Example:
"Text - Basic Map name when inspecting map in inventory": "<color=#ffff00>Basic Map</color> <size=10>Add to hotbar and right click. <color=#993333>Explosion marker</color> on map.</size>"Thus just displays as is in game. It use to show properly before the update.
Unless Rust changed what they use for the formatting, I don't see why that would have changed. It's Unity formatting.
It's confusing me because it's working in some plugins like UniversalUI. But other plugins where I can set a "custom name" for the item, it's failing. So it seems like the formatting is still the same. It just doesn't apply to item names anymore?
I just wanted to follow up on the name replacent error with color and size. It seems that it's broken withing the plugin as well. I didn't know if this was something that could be repaired within oxide or it's just done for like custom descriptions. I figured it was worth a mention. I'm sure I'm not the first person to bug you with this either. So if so. I'm sorry about that. Here's an example.

That is a Rust change, not related to Oxide.
I know. I guess I worded that poorly. I do that a lot :) So there's no way within oxide to "fix" it?
Not that I am aware of, since the Rust client isn't touched by Oxide.
Understood. Thank you for your reply.
