It would have to be recompiled and updated, which only the developer for it can do.
I understand, just trying to get the attention of @dcode so that those updates can happen

Rust:IO is an extension, it will break if there are game changes. It's also closed source, so no GitHub.

Anyone know where we can contact the author? I would've go to the universal clans plugin but that one doesnt have friendly fire

All we can do is hope @dcode sees this thread and acts accordingly. In the meantime, we'll just have to be patient.

Have any of you thought about alternatives? I sometimes do but I always liked the simplicity of RustIO. But it has become a bit of a pain and it feels a bit abbandoned but also not really abbandoned at the same time. For alternatives you have the universal clans plugin but that one doesnt allow for friendly fire which is why im using this one. There is also the premium clans reborn but yeah that one is expensive and isnt working either according to the thread there. But I feel like RustIO is a bit outdated, it's nice and all but the down time of it after a rust update is kinda annoying,

he'll probably figure it out once he doesn't see servers popping up anymore!

Universal Clans is not actually broken, issue is with Oxide and will be in the next build.

Oh i thought I read it in the support section of that plugin. So there will be a 3rd oxide update today?

I might switch to universal clans since I think it supports friendly fire now without the need for friends api right?

It's either that or paying premium or waiting for rustIO to be updated but that could be days and I dont think I can let my players be without clans/friendly fire all that time
