Had that error when I built a 52 floor pyramid.  Shooting rockets at the lower levels would crash the server.
yep had a 40x40 by 19 high ..server no like lol 
Make strict rules about max base size is the only solution.

There are plugins that control number of foundations, building blocks etc but these work buggy (saying limit is reached while it hasn't etc) so I woudn't recommand using them.

My normal base is 20Lx10Wx7H , i find that the walls start falling off above that height with normal stability on the server. Dont want to turn stability off as am tired of players building "sky roads" to defeat defenses as twig raiding is disabled.

Good thing I was building the base :)
Any update on what specifically causes this, and the best limits for those plugins. The server is also suffering from this.
