Racking my brain, but I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

• I see everyone's chat just fine
• Others see what I am saying and will respond
• I don't see the message I type in chat
• I don't see responses to commands such as /sethome home doesn't respond that the home was set, but it was.

I thought I was muted, but apparently not. Any ideas?

Most likely you have chat disabled or have muted yourself via client. Try mutelist

Under options, I can see show chat is set on. When I type mutelist in the console it says no entries.
I just realized, including my own, I don't see player typed messages. I do see announcements in chat however.

I found it! I didn't even know it was a setting.
Mute Global Chat was set on lol
