I can't really recommend any alternatives, but any third-party service like that is subject to the same fate honestly. I had plans to write a plugin to integrtion with a site such as Shopify, but haven't had the time yet.

Hi, I was hoping to see an opensource plugin for something like Woocomers. IMO Shopify is expensive. Woocommerce is a free and open-source eCommerce plugin for WordPress. Users can self-host or get there website/shop hosted.
It would be nice too have this. even more, if the plugin would be opensource and be on https://github.com/ where everyone could participate in the code. This way what happens to SDonate would not happen again.
Some other hosted systems like GPay, has some issues, such as we cannot charge taxes or retrieve the addresses from our donators/customers, which are required to handle the taxes of the donations legally in some countries.

I don't know how much work it would be to do a Oxide plugin for WooCommerce. il request this in the Plugin Requests section when i get home. It would be nice to have a plugin that works for all the game Oxide supports.
