Server takes hours to start

Hello, I've hosted my server for 1 year almost, but about 1 month or so ago the server startup suddenly went from 20 min to hours on launch.

I have tried reinstalling through SteamCMD, I have also tried launching without umod, but nothing works.
I am running the server on a Windows Server 2012 R2.

This screenshot was taken 1 hour after launch.

Is it a DS or a VDS? Are you using an SSD or an HDD?
Doesn't look like it has started. Check your log for errors.

That's the virtualization, whats the specs of that machine?

2x Intel Xeon X5670 - 6 cores dedicated to the Rust server, no other VMs running atm.
40GB RAM - 20GB dedicated to the Rust server.

This just happened randomly after a random Rust update, but this happens even after reinstalling everything except the OS.

The server has started from waiting forever:

By the way Wulf, sorry for not responding! D:

I would check :
1. The network.
2. The "fullness" of the drives.
3. any other processes using those drives.
4. windows swap file...
5. sector reallocation on the drive due to wear....
6. if your running RAID, have you re-validated your raid recently?

I can say with (VMware) virtulisation,    with 8GB ram, 2 CPU cores NO real GPU... i can boot in <5 min even with the latest rust bld..  plus my kit is pre 2010

give me the size & the world "hash" & i can give u a timing..

But seriously those X5670's have seen  better days... Rust is using more "modern" HW implemented instructions plus theres the 20-30% recent performance loss for CPU fixes.. the spec .. looks like ex server equ...
