I always had this problem, I set "Graphics Quality" to 2 and every time I re open the game it's back to 0, can't even read the map coordinates.

or just let the game shut down properly so your settings save, if that's to much use the writecfg command after adjusting..
I always shut the game down properly, I know a lot of people use task manager because it takes them too long to close it, I have an 8600K, 2x 3600MHz CL16, NVMe SSD.
@hunted how do u think we shut the game down ? and writecfg does not work.

writecfg is not for that purpose last I checked; only for bans/users on the server.

fp fourms have been down and gone for months now..
most players with subpar computers don't wait around for the game to exit properly and/or it crashes.. they will often force quit the game instead of waiting for it to exit properly

It's just the main "Graphics Quality" setting that keeps resetting back to 0, I know what you mean by closing the game properly, if you change settings in the game then ALT F4 they won't save but I always close the game properly.
