I am wondering if anyone had problems where their server having massive RAM spikes and what the likely issue is? We're running an NFO server with the following specs: Intel Xeon E3-1271v3 processor (four physical 3.6ghz cores on QPI + hyperthreading + turbo->4.0ghz 32 GB DDR3-1600 ECC memory 240 GB SSD and 2000 GB, 7200 RPM SATA hard drive 36000 GB of bandwidth transfer.
We had been running 4 months flawlessly. The ram either will spike from 7 gb to over 30gb within seconds. Or at times it will slowly and methodically march up over a span of 6 hours or so and sit at various tiers. Starts at 7gb stead for a few hours then jumped to 11gb for a few hours then jumps to 28gb for a few hours then eventually crashes. We are pulling some plugins and starting there. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences like this and can shed some light on possible underlying issue?
