Console error when i try to hit the respawn button

AssertionException: Assertion failure. Value was False
Expected: True
Stomping old lifeStory

I cannot respawn,
All other players seem un effected, i died then did update, did i corrupt my character or something?

seems each time i hit the respawn button it posts this in console, but i do not respawn.
Other servers i can join, and respawn no issue

Rebooted server, still cannot respawn, stuck on spawn screen.

Any tips?

Sounds like your player got duplicated somehow and the old character is somehow remaining.

I believe so as well, im sending another in to tp to me and see if they can kill it/me.

idk what to do to solve this, can i delete the player steam id from the server data somehow?

Might be able to remove the entity with a plugin or something, but not really sure personally.

Did i accidentially discover a crazy bug that has me not able to spawn into my own server XD

No, I've encountered it before when messing with some hooks that interrupted the player creation process, but not aware of anything public that would cause that.

You could try writing a quick script to find BasePlayer entities with your userid and kill them all

Welp i'll ask my dev to make somethin up for me i guess because im still stuck on respawn screen and cant do anything to my own server.

Wish the Big Brains here had a solution, but i see this one has whipped you all.

I will reach out to some devs and throw money at them until fixed as usual.

Really surprised no one here could solve this.
Past 2 wipes have hurt my community so badly idk if its even worth it anymore.

Worst comes to worse i guess i could just wipe the server.

Giant Shout Out and Thanks to Ts3hosting for pming me here and sending me a simple plugin he made within 5 mins that fixed my issue totally.

He made it look so simple and easy, this little plugin he gave me should definetly be on umod.

Umod could use more devs like him that is for sure.
