ex) lowgradefuel max craft size 500.
i used stack size plugin . no inv stack option , craft size
GoldieThis always worked but somehow got broken a year ago.
Back in the day you could craft 9999 of everything. Really sucks for modded servers that this doesnt work anymore and I wonder why it is.
Because FP decided that it was the cause of players making servers crash by doing just that, ! doesnt really matter for me though as i just create the same amount using smaller "blocks" of items. takes the same amount of time.
pookins
takes the same amount of time.
Thats not the case, especially on x10 and higher servers. You spend alot of time moving your mouse from the left to the right for the clicking reasons.
You could craft 9999 low grade for example but now this is capped at 500 low grade. So that is 20x extra clicking for you. Not only do you have to click you need also click on the max arrow.
And for c4, rockets and alot of other things it's capped at 10
Really annoying for high gather servers

I do have a high gather server and its been that way for over 4 years, With a ZLevels level of 180-200 you can gather over 7500-9000 with each hit of your pickaxe, but that is not what is being complained about, its the crafting rate not the gather rate, Even with a level 20 crafting level which gives you *instant crafting it still takes the same amount of time to craft any large amount of items whether its in blocks of 999 or 9999.
FP are not going to revert back to the old system or at least give no indication of doing so.
As I am constantly moving the mouse (whether for crafting or no) when playing the game it does not seem to be annoying or too fatiguing to me.
Its not like the constant and repetitive hammering you used to have to do to upgrade your building blocks, and as my stacksize for resources is 600000 I am constantly gathering so dont notice the extra clicks,

You can't disagree with math.
If 9999 (lets say 10000 for ease) was a single click, then a max of 500 is 20* the ammount of clicks.

I am not disagreeing with maths , I am pointing out that with a game that is mainly mouse controlled a few extra clicks is not going to break my heart, I am not going to cry over something that is game controlled and as far as i know not able to be changed, FP has decided to limit the craft "block" size of all items and resources so unless you can show me how that can be changed there is not much point in argueing about it, I spend all day gathering/mining/chopping/shooting/picking up using the mouse, that is how the game runs.
Just bind a key.
bind f5 "craft.add -265876753 5000"
This makes 5,000 gunpowder every time you hit the F5 key (if you have enough of the resources in your inventory).

and of course use that for every "craftable" item.

Are you able to craft more than the maximum ammount you normally would using this system? That sounds interesting. Will try

There is not too many items that need to be crafted in huge amounts (gunpowder, fuel, maybe explosives), other can be crafted as usual. Also you are saying that if you are comfortable with spending your life on clicking buttons in the game all day long - then everyone should be comfortable as well? Funny.

As we are talking about a game in which it is 90% clicking buttons well then i guess it is funny, i have only approx 6000thou hours playing it but am quite happy clicking away, and as you point out there are not that many items that need to be mass produced so why the big fuss about it ?,

"Not to many items" is counterpart for "and of course use that for every "craftable" item.", these items still need ridicolous amount of clicking.
Every game has it's own gameplay, and Rust is not OSU, it's clicking has different purpose.
