Does the server have permission to view and create files? The error shown in the logs (translated to English) says: "The system cannot find the specified file", so that could apply either to the log file the compiler is trying to create under C:\servers\Rustserver\oxide\logs or the Compiler.exe itself.

My server just started doing this same thing, and its random when it does it. The compiler.exe doesn't shutdown during reboot and ends up preventing  the rust server from starting. I have to manually go in and kill the process for compiler.exe to start the server and reconize oxide to load properly

The compiler disconnecting vs. checking for updates wouldn't be the same thing. The message for this thread is a connection issue, not a duplicate process running.

Unfortunately the issue you mentioned isn't super common, and not likely to be fixed with the current platform and older compiler.
