Kits don't show anymore

I installed the last update of this mod today and since then the players can't claim their kits from the playerchallenges anymore.
The player challenges mod puts players in the appropriate oxide group and i have designed matching kits for each group. This has worked for a year now, but today suddenly players no longer see these kits... Any ideas? I already checked all permissions and group names, but nothing has changed :-/

so if you go back to the older version(what version was it even?) it works again? you don't have any errors/logs/information to go off of!?

I find this too. Maybe I can add to the conversation.

  • Regular kits seem to work fine
  • Kits that are assigned via the Player Challenges plugin are not claimable
  • When I look at the players who can't claim them I see the following:
    • Player Challengers had added them to the proper permission group
    • That group has the proper permission listed in Kits
  • I restarted Kits but that didn't help

Is there any casing variance in the plugins you are using for the kit permissions?

I don't know what that means, but I tried going back to the old version and that didn't seem to help.

It  'seems' like players just started reporting it today after the patch, but I did update kits towards the end of the wipe so I'm unsure.

Kits.ThisIsTheName vs. kits.thisisthename

Nah. Here's an example.

    "Miner": {
      "Name": "Miner",
      "Description": "",
      "RequiredPermission": "kits.miner",
      "MaximumUses": 0,
      "RequiredAuth": 0,

It doesn't make much sense because it appears Player Challenges is assigning the players to the proper permission group and that group has the proper permissions for the kit. The GUI shows as if they don't have permissions so the button is unavailable.

AND other kits that aren't associated with Player Challenges work just fine for players.

I can't imagine it's a Player Challenges issue cause it seems to be doing what it does...this has been working for a long time without (I believe) changes on my side.

I can only confirm every post from Bumfuzzler. It all worked for several months until yesterday's update.

Reloading the kit or player challenges mods did not work. I also had checked all players if they are in the right group and if the permissions are still correct and also on my side the Player Challenges mod seems to do its job but the corresponding kits are just not shown. Very very strange. Other kits that are used by other mods (for example Player Rankings or Raidable Bases) also work for me. And unfortunately switching to an old version did not work for me either. :-/

Is this a kind of oxide version? Because I can't manually update oxide, unfortunately my provider does not give me access to this data..

There have already been multiple releases since then to address the issue further.
