I would like to have the function that when someone buys a kit that already has another kit or already has items in inventory that these are removed to make room for the new items of the purchased kit.
Clear the inventory when another kit is purchased.
That would be a good option . As you probably know the way it works now is because there were so many complaints of lost (new) items when someone redeemed a kit in chat (before gui) with not enough room. I have several warnings (welcome message, infopanel) including kit description in the gui about redeeming a kit with insufficient room in inventory but not everyone reads them.
Your suggestion would enable them to get all the new kit so they would have to be careful as to the kit they would lose,

OK, thanks for the information, I found another option with another plugin called "inventory cleaner", I bind the command on a key and I can clean my inventory easy and quick before I buy another kit, but for my other players it will be difficult because they don't like commands, they want it that all is automatic.
I thought on a config option with True/false function where the command of the other plugin is in the kit plugin. If anyone buys a kit than the inventory will be cleaned and the new kit will be spawned like "if then function", but if that is not possible, it will be not so important than I do it on the other way.

This is one other reason the ability to redeem a kit with no room in inventory was added
