New server trying to create new kits, managed to give myself admin but the mod doesnt recognize me as the damn only admin.
/kit new just returns that I need to be a admin, after a server reboot and confirming that I deffinately am an admin this still happens. I can spawn myself items and I can even run admin server commands directly in game console. Kits will still not work.

I know that this post will be followed by someone saying that "it is not necessary as you are already an admin" 
BUT try granting yourself this permission to see if you can then create kits.
/o.grant user yourname kits.admin
IF you are not recognised as an admin you will not be able to grant yourself the permission  :)
Did you check your users config (server) to check that you are indeed shown as owner ?
