I'm sure I am doing something simple wrong. I follow the instructions and watched you video. Everything seems to be working just fine. But when I attempt to redeem the kit nothing is received. Is this a permissions issue?

This problem usually is that /kit items was not used *with you wearing and equipped with weapons you want the kit to have, When you type "/kit items"   a confirmation message will appear stating that "your inventory was copied to the kit" or that your inventory was empty when you created the kit and used that command.
The kit will not have a permission unless  you assign one to the kit ,If it has a permission you will get a message saying "you do not have the permission to redeem the kit". 
If you have made it Npconly - true (by accident) then you will receive a message saying that  "you have to find the npc with that kit"

Type /kitlist to see what kits  you have created
