i have this thing happening sometimes when player place ladder on raidbase it clips and get swallowed right away, when i try to place it on same base, i have no problems. i have set everything up in config/data so players can place ladders. checked this about a dozen times by now to be sure all is right. its not inside monument radius. i have the free version. ive spoken to 1 more admin in discord having this issue, he will tag along in a short while so we can try to resolve this
Ladders sometimes get swallowed for random players
Hello, we spoke in Discord- I have been having the same problem. about 4 different occasions in the past week, that I know of. A player tries to place a ladder, there is an audio effect of the ladder being placed, but it instantly vanishes and is taken from the players inventory. First time it happened was with a player right in front of me, yet I was able to place ladders with no problem. It then happened a few days later to the same exact player so I thought it was a problem isolated with them but later it happened to me. I went to place a ladder and this was happeneing https://i.imgur.com/rOUBFYV.mp4
After that happened, I left the dome for about 5 min and when I ran back in, it allowed me to place ladders all over the base with no problem
Should also say that each time this has happened, I have gone through the config files and from what I see, everything is in order. the value for "allow players to place ladders" is set to true.
Here are 2 screenshots of the plugins I'm using.

I think this might be the issue with having a vehicle(usually a car with storage) inside the raid base zone which we find happen on our server too, and it happens with placing tcs too, as soon as they move the car outside of the zone they can place everything fine.
interesting bee, will test when this occures again. thx for the feedback
nice thanks for the input beee
Here is the resolution:
Check the following folder. oxide/data/RaidableBases/Profiles Make sure you have all profiles (that you want) set to false "Require Cupboard Access To Place Ladders": false, This setting is near the bottom of each difficulty config file.
is this still an issue in 2.4.2?

That's not related to the bug and doesn't fix it.
Nivex you probably fixed it in premium. It's 2.4.1 here.
