I am now like 15 hours into tyring to get this mod to work and still no clue at all. If I am to buy the paid version, do I just add the files to me server and it is fully up and functioning right away? It's to the point I give up on trying myself.

This mod will help my server population grow for sure.

there is the premium version which has all of the premium features. all 5 difficulties, buyable events, player lockouts, advanced ranked ladder, options for spawning npcs in bases and probability modifier for loot tables

there are also packages. these do not contain the plugin. they contain the configuration, loot tables, profiles and up to 50 bases. everything is setup to work with the plugin. install and you're up and running right away. it can be used with the free version but you're limited to 1 difficulty so you'll have to disable profiles that you won't be using. it's better to buy a package when you also plan to buy the premium plugin.

buying the plugin and the package as a bundle has a discount at 10%, 20% and 30% towards the plugins purchase price respective of the tier that you buy

regardless, you will still have to tweak the files to fit the needs of your server. there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all package. the benefit is that you have a complete setup and tweaking is much easier than having to do everything yourself.
