Trying to find a way to balance their aimbottyness (lol) and the range at which they engage or instant fire.

I have ours set to 40, and scientists still seem to go nuts before you get inside the bubble.

What is the relation of the size of the dome to the aggression range value?

Is 0 the edge of bubble and 10, 10 meters beyond bubble? Or are these values from the NPC location outward? I know there is an accuracy setting, but trying to better grasp the aggression range to dome relationship.

setting their range to 40 when the protection radius is 50 will mean there's 10 a meter difference, and they shouldn't be able to initiate combat beyond it. though their range increases dramatically when they're attacked. it's also possible the rust AI is adjusting their range, too.
